We have added many features over the years to the Wintor AR app to make placing and moving content as smooth as possible, making Wintor one of the best AR editors available, with a plethora of tools in the app. Even with those tools, however, making complicated spots, with a lot of media and behaviours, could be a bit tedious at times. Today, we are releasing two of our most requested features, which will help our creators greatly: select multiple objects and duplicate objects

Select Multiple Objects

No more adjusting objects one by one! With a toggle in the bottom left of the screen, you can now enter select multiple objects mode. This allows you to move, scale, and rotate all assets together while keeping their relative positions the same.

This is especially handy when you have already placed multiple pieces of media together, such as a picture in a picture frame or a point of interest on a virtual object. This will make the app more forgiving to use when you are not quite happy with how you have placed your objects, but don’t want to do all of it over again.

Duplicate Objects

Multiple similar objects in your scene? Make it once, then duplicate!

While editing one or multiple objects, you can now press the duplicate button in the top right. This will also copy any settings and behaviours attached to the copied objects.

Both when making complex spots with many repeated interactions, and when making a nice scenery around your spot, you can be much more efficient by not importing the same assets and setting up the same settings and behaviours repeatedly.

Real-World Example: City Escape Game "In Search of Freedom"

In our upcoming city escape game in Wageningen, we have a spot where players shoot arrows at wooden targets. Each target triggers an animation and plays a sound when clicked, and then the next target appears.

Previously, this meant:

❌ Manually importing each target.

❌ Reassigning behaviours every time.

❌ Adjusting settings individually.

Now it’s all just one click of the button!

What’s next?

Making a great tour is more than just placing content in the app, so we are also working on many other useful tools for web.wintor.com. Have you already used our AI to make human-sounding narrations or images from text? We have more helpful AI innovations coming up. Stay tuned to find out!
